History

Since its founding by brothers Ron and Bill Clous in 1977, Eastwood Custom Homes has long been recognized for building quality, affordable homes. Our many developments represent the largest single company effort to provide housing for families across the region. Eastwood is also well known for custom building homes across the area.

The company continues to innovate, with products like the Edison, the area's most affordable green home, and the Value Max series, delivering the most house for the least amount of money. Eastwood's wall panelization plant enables the company to build home components without regard to the season or the weather, saving time and money.

Eastwood's focus goes beyond building. We offer several programs to help buyers purchase a new home. The Credit For Life program helps consumers repair their credit, while the Lease to Own program enables clients to live in their brand new home while building their credit prior to purchase. The company's Trade In program is designed to give those who already own a house an opportunity to move into a brand new Eastwood home while knowing that their previous home will be sold.

The company's committment to the area also includes numerous projects that benefit the community as well. Eastwood has been a key part in building homes through Habitat for Humanity. The company supported community projects helping with construction of a sports complex in Kingsley and constructing a press box for the football field in Elk Rapids. These are just a few examples of the positive ways in which Eastwood has impacted the region.

At Eastwood Custom Homes, we are committed  to providing our clients and the community with the resources to make the area more livable and more enjoyable. No wonder "We Make It Easy!"
