History

Since its founding by brothers Ron and Bill Clous in Traverse City, Michigan in 1977, Eastwood Custom Homes has long been recognized for building quality, affordable homes. Our many developments represent the largest single company effort to provide housing for families across the Northern Michigan region. Eastwood is also well known for custom building homes across the Grand Traverse area.

Eastwood continues to innovate, with products like the Edison, one of the area's most efficient and affordable homes, and the Value Max series, delivering the best quality home for a low cost.

Eastwood's focus goes way beyond building. We offer several programs to help Northern Michigan buyers qualify to purchase a new home. The Credit For Life program can help consumers repair their credit, while the Lease to Own program enables clients to live in their new home while building their credit prior to closing on their purchase. The company's Trade In option is designed to give those who already own a house an opportunity to move into a new Eastwood built home while knowing that their previous home will be purchased.

The company's commitment to the area also includes numerous projects that benefit the community as well. Eastwood has been a key part in building homes through Habitat for Humanity. The company supported community projects helping with construction of a sports complex in Kingsley, Michigan and constructing a press box for the football field in Elk Rapids, Michigan. These are just a few examples of the positive ways in which Eastwood has impacted the Traverse area.

At Eastwood Custom Homes, we are builders committed  to providing our clients and the community with the resources to make the area more livable and more enjoyable. No wonder our clients agree "We Make It Easy!"
